I recently made a poll on wether you guys thought converse or vans were better. And… they tied! I had 8 votes converse 8 votes vans! In the past year, it seems like the sales of converse and vans have switched, what I mean by that is, I think vans used to be more popular, but now I think converse are more popular! I was very surprised with the results but good job for who ever participated! 🙂

Okay, don’t get me wrong. I LOVE Jordan’s, buttttt there are some down sides to them. To start off with, the price is ridiculously high, I mean…200 dollars for a pair of shoes? (Sometimes lower, sometimes higher) I definitely think the things they use to make them are good materials, but probably not 200 dollars. On the other hand, many people do love them, and if people will buy them for that price, (which a LOT of people do) then…it is pretty good marketing! That’s mainly the only down side I can think of. Other than creasing your shoes! Anyways, I do love all the varieties of colors they come in, and personally I just love the way they look! My favorite style are the Jordan 1 High’s! I recently went to Hawaii in April of this year. And let me tell you…it was one of the best trips I’ve ever been on..if not the best. Here’s some reasons why 🙂 To begin with, we went snorkeling in coral reefs with Rays, Fish, Sea turtles, White Reef Tip Sharks, etc and it was so much fun!! We kayaked out to the place we were going to snorkel..and you won’t believe this but we saw a whale jumping up in the water! It was unbelievably cool! I wish I could relive that moment as many times as I want. Next, we had a condo right next to the beach, the pool was right out our door, it was amazing! The food was so good! (really expensive tho!) We rode around the island in razors, exploring parts we didn’t even know existed! We went to a blowhole, it sprayed so high, all of my family got wet! Anyways, that’s a bit about my trip to Maui…I would definitely want to go again!!

So..you guys know the really popular place, it was just recently moved into Utah? You know what I’m talking about, Raising Canes! Anyways this is my personal opinion on it, and whether it really is worth all the hype or not. Last week I got canes. The line- I can’t even explain how long it was..we drove all the way to South Jordan to get in line and let me tell you, it took SO LONG! I mean in my head I was thinking..this stuff better be good if we are waiting in one heck of a line like this!! And of course my dad wasn’t too happy about it either, but I had been talking about trying this place ever since it opened here in Utah!! Anyways, I just got the classic meal of course and here is what I thought. It was SO GOOD! The chicken tenders, the fries, the Texas Toast…everything about it- literally amazing. Now others would probably say it’s overhyped… But, I mean, to me it was really good and I definitely recommend it!! If you guys have ever tried Raising Canes, comment your thoughts on it!
