Throwback Thursday: Video games and websites

There are many games I used to play when I was younger, and websites that I used to use too. Here are some things I found interesting about what I used to go on/play!

First off, Poptropica. I don’t know if you guys ever played this when you were younger…but I definitely did. My sisters were mainly the ones who showed me it, and I decided to try it out for myself! And let me tell you, every day after school, I would come home and go to play it..it was definitely one of my favorites. There are many different options, such as a choice in characters, maps, challenges, difficulties, etc! I haven’t played it in a while, but I do know at the time I enjoyed it!

Next, Kizi! This isn’t necessarily a game, it’s a website! Kizi is a free website I played a BUNCH when I was younger, with many different categories of games!

Lastly, Papa Louie games! Now these are the games that I not only played at home, but also in school with my friends! There are so many different games, all based on making food! You get to choose your character, and your name as a worker! Each day your rank upgrades, and based on how you do you get tickets or tips to help do other activities inside the game! As you rank up, you keep getting more food add-ons, and new customers!

I’ve been wanting to re-design my room for a while. Right now it’s okay, but it’s not my favorite. Even if I got to redo it, there would still be quite some things that I would want to change that I couldn’t, since it’s involving the shape of the room and where it is!

My first must have would be the shape and size of my room. I would want a wall that goes slightly more diagonal inwards, and I would put my bed under it! I’ve seen many pictures of this and I have so many ideas of what I would do for this! I wouldn’t say my room is “big”, but it’s more than most average homes! If I could have anything I would want it bigger!

My second must have would be to have a very comfy bed! Preferably a queen. The colors of the pillows and covers would match my room, it would have lots of blankets, and the bed would be soft, and cozy! There are many shapes of beds, of course the usual is a rectangle, but I would want a circle bed! Click here for the link!

My last must have would be a hanging chair. If I ever just want to sit and read a book, watch a show, or be on my phone, I would love a hanging chair to do so! It would be very comfy and it would match the colors of my room, it would either look out my window so I could watch the sunsets, or be by my bed!

Middle School Thoughts…

Here are a list of pros and cons of middle school!

Pros:

  • School helps me make new friends! All of the people I am close with now are because of school.
  • An education/degree is recommended for many good jobs in the future.
  • We learn many things that we will need to use in the real world.

Cons:

  • We may look at our friends and how good they look.
  • We may think we did good on a test, but then you hear your friend say her percentage, and she did a lot better..so you think your score is bad, and you don’t feel good about how smart you are.
  • We may miss out on hanging with friends because we have homework to do.

Personality quizzes, and results!

For the first quiz, I took, “What Ice cream flavor are you?” and I got Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough! In fact, this is my favorite ice cream flavor, so it’s funny I got it!

For the second quiz, I took, “Which natural wonder should you visit?” and I got the Harbor of Rio de Janeiro!

For the last quiz, I took, “Which time period do you belong in?” and I got The Future!

Do I love my name?

To be honest, I kind of have mixed feelings about my name. I mean, a LOT of people have it, so it’s not the coolest name to have since it is heard pretty frequently. But, it also is pretty. It means natural, wholesome, and strong! I love the nickname I get most frequently, which is aves. I think it’s cute and short, and I personally love being called it!
